Admission Procedure

The College offers 3-year undergraduate Honours and General Courses in Science and Humanities (Arts) under the affiliation of Calcutta University.

Students passed 10+2 level board examinations from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE), ISC, CBSE, and different boards of other states in India (as approved by the University of Calcutta: click are eligible for admission to this college following the eligibility criteria mentioned (Click Here). College shall not be liable for admission/ranking in the Merit List in case your previous 10+2 board is not approved by the University of Calcutta.

Application for 3-year B.A/B.Sc Admission in Honours and General courses for the session 2015-2016 shall be online (click here) from 7th August, 2015 at 7 PM to 11th August, 2015 upto 11:59 PM.

  • Application will not be considered without payment of Application fees (Rs. 150 for each application) within the stipulated deadline.
  • Admission will be strictly on the Merit Basis.
  • After publication of the Merit List, admission in Honours Courses will be after counselling in the College (click here for details).
  • All admissions are provisional subject to approval of the Calcutta University.
How To Apply Online

STEP 1: Apply online at

N.B Helpline: +91 33 4006 8162 during office hours (9 AM and 5 PM) only for difficulties in filling/submission of Application Form.

STEP 2: After duly fill up the Application form, choose the payment option. Without payment of requisite application fees of Rs. 150 (exclusive of Bank charges) your application shall not be considered for ranking in the Merit position.

Payment may be made either online using Credit card/ATM-cum Debit Card/Net banking till 11th August, 2015
or in cash (alongwith the Pay-in-Slip/Challan to be printed along with the form) in the college office between 8 AM and 12:30 PM till 12th August, 2015 (excluding Sunday and Holidays)

STEP 3: After submission, print the filled-in Application Form alongwith the Confirmation Slip (if you opt for online remittance) containing your Application Number or the 3-part Pay-in-Slip (Challan) (if you opt for cash payment) by clicking Print button. In case you opt for cash payment, please submit the requisite fees in college office on or before 12th August, 2015 at 12:30 PM.

STEP 4: N.B.: Application will not be considered without Application Fee (Rs. 150). To ensure validation of your Application Form, please check "VALID APPLICATION" section in the admission site ( Please allow 1 day after depositing the Application Fee (in cash) in College Office. In case, your application does not get validated till then, then only visit College Office along with proof of Application Fee submission on or before 13th August, 2015 till 11:30 AM beyond which no complaints will be entertained.

Documents Required during Admission

Candidates from the Merit List for Honours courses called for counselling must have to produce the following documents at the time of counselling:

(1) Filled in application form [printout of the form (2 pages) submitted online]

(2) Reciept of the application fee (Original Challan-receipt)

(3) All documents (in original) like Marksheets, Admit card for H.S. or equivalent examination, SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PH certificate (if applicable), document showing Date of Birth. etc.

(4) Two Recent stamp size color photographs.
